On Tuesday night, the YW, leaders, Bishop and Bro Evans went rock climbing. Bishop told the girls he would buy them a steak dinner if they could make it all the way to the top on a certain path on the rock wall. We had so many girls try that particular path, but none could do it. Several tried over and over again, but to no avail. So, Bishop decided to give it to the one who got the closest to the top. Megan got almost to the top, so she won it. Congrats Megan!
All the girls had a great time and realized they could do things even if those things were tough! Good job girls (and leaders) on conquering the Rock Wall!

How fun! My inlaws are like outdoors fanatics! my husband and his younger brother used to go rock climbing all the time...we went one time to a REAL rock in Idaho and I pretty much decided I would rather run a marathon than go through that pain again...I'm such a wimp, but it's tough stuff!
what a great activity! sounds like everyone had a great time! my girls love the climbing wall. they beg leonard to take them climbing all the time!
My first year teaching, we took the 4th graders on a nature field trip that included an outdoor rock wall, and for kicks, I gave it a go. The whole time, one of the boys from another class kept yelling that I thought the guy holding my safety rope was cute and that I wanted to marry him. I didn't get to climb for long, because I had to get down so I could kill him.
Looks like a lot of fun!
